SpainLINKED sometimes features biographies of people living in Spain and also talks about people´s lives here, the books they have written to tell their stories.
There is nothing quite like sitting down when you have the time and get into a good book!! The great thing is the visuals are all inside your head and noone is showing them to you as they do in a film. You are lead into another world and whether the story is fiction or non fiction you imagine the plot in your own way. You imagine it all with open eyes and as they say a good book is heard to put down. Writing is an incredible talent where you use your imagination and the right words to get the readers attention and draw them in your realm.
In Raymond Speers´s novel Who´s the bad guy? Nothing is made up, its all true and extremely intriguing.
Intro by Alistair Watts.
Here is a short description of the book in Raymond´s own words.
The book is about my life story as a young kid to leaving home at seventeen and joining the French foreign legion for six years then going into close protection for a private company in Holland where I spent twenty years, spending time in Columbia, my problems with Tirads in the back streets of Birmingham. Then coming to Spain only to be followed by Tirads who are hell bent in finding me.
The book I am writing now is a follow up of time in Spain with all the problems that find my way.
